Cervical cancer, also known as cervical cancer, is a malignant disease of the female reproductive system associated with pathological degeneration of the epithelial cells of the cervical canal. According to statistics, this disease is diagnosed in about 20 women out of 100 thousand, while the mortality rate is 9 cases per 100 thousand of the female population. About a third of patients seek medical help already in the late stages of the disease. However, with timely diagnosis and adequate treatment, a complete recovery is possible.
